Overview
In 2023, TruCrafter was commissioned to design and build a complete mahogany window and door package for an Architectural Home in Eagle Rock. The project featured 2 custom entry doors and 17 matching windows designed to feel original to the Spanish Colonial residence. By combining traditional hand-fitting techniques with a collaborative design process, we met a strict eight week production window. The result is a high performance millwork system that perfectly mirrors the homeowner’s specific aesthetic.

The homeowner had very specific requirements for the look and feel of the home's exterior. The new doors and windows couldn't just be high quality, they had to fit the Spanish Colonial character perfectly across the entire project. We had just eight weeks to source the mahogany, nail the design specs for 17 windows and 2 matching doors, and complete the build so every piece felt like a natural extension of the house.

A Precise Fit: Since opening dimensions vary in older homes, we hand-fitted each unit to its specific frame for a seamless, high-performance seal and a solid feel.
The Finish: We used a hand-rubbed finish to highlight the mahogany grain, giving the entire window and door package a warm look that complements the rest of the exterior.
